About Barak Sered, MD
Dr Sered is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his residency in Family Practice at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx.
He brings a family-centered and holistic approach to his practice, and enjoys working with his patients to develop treatment plans to meet their health goals. He is passionate in supporting individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Dr Sered is certified as an HIV Specialist by the American Association of HIV Medicine and is a Medicaid Hepatitis C Practitioner. He is also an advocate for office-based medication assisted treatment with buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid use disorder.
Dr Sered enjoys travel, music, and cycling-you can often find his bicycle parked right outside the health center! He looks forward to meeting you and your family.
